Reflection

Before doing this folio, I was confused by the contents in the folio. After a little help from my sisters and Pn. Ng, I had finally complete this folio. I had many interesting things such as ways to control our temper, coolness and tolerance among people. I had learnt that tolerance is very important. Tolerance can help tighten the relationship among people. We must always control our temper if not it will change our lives. Well, I also increased my knowledge by using the computer. That is all. Thank you.

Appreciation

I would like to thank my English teacher, Pn. Ng, for her help in teaching me the way to complete this folio. Without her help, I could not complete this folio in time. I would also like to thank my sisters for guiding and helping me in the process of completing this folio. They sacrifised a lot of time to help me. Millions of thanks from me to them and Pn. Ng. Thank you.

Cool Down

What is a conflict?

From my point of view, conflict is a disagreement or a fight between two people or more. It always happen to close friends. Both will try to fight for one thing. A conflict will occur when there is an attractive object that both parties want.

3 ways of cooling down :

  • listen to music to relax our mind.
  • read a book to put in new things into our mind.
  • take a walk to calm down our temper and think back to find out a solution.

What Is Tolerance?

Tolerance is a fair, objective, and permissive attitude toward those whose opinions, practices, race, religion, nationality, etc, differ from one's own. In other words, tolerance is the willingness to let others think and do as they wish.

The symbol of tolerance :

Am I Cool??

Me

Hi! It is me again. I was asked "do I believe I am cool?" Yes I do because I care for people and try my best to help them when they are in trouble. I do not have a bad temper and I will always find a way to calm myself down if I really get angry. If I have problems, I will try to find a way to solve it. These are the reasons why I believe I am cool.

My Friend

Let me introduce the person in the picture. Her name is Samantha. She is in the same class and school as me. Well, we are like sisters because we argue, fight and also help each other. To me, Samantha is cool. She likes to help people who are in trouble. She is very honest and smart. She is always friendly to everyone. These are the reasons why I like her to be my friend.

Book Review

Title :Holes In The Fence
Written By :Sheikh Hassan Seylan 'Abad

Illustrated By :Raihan Munif Bahasuan

Published By :Abad Ceria Enterprise

This story is about a boy who has a very bad temper. His family and friends dislikes him because of his temper. One day, his father tries to awaken him from his behavior by becoming a servant. The boy regreted and beg his father's help to change. Everytime he gets angry, he has to hammer a nail on the fence. After a few months, his father asked him to take out all the hammered nails on the fence. After that, he realised that he has done wrong. All the hearts that he has hurt, cannot be healed back.

I like the part where he has to hammer the nails into the fence.

I learnt a lot from the story. We cannot be cruel to others. We must not be rude to our parents because they are the ones who gave birth to us.

About Myself

Hi! My name is Celynn Chan Suet-Ping. My friends sometimes call me Sin Chan or Ping-pong. I am 12 years old. I am born on the 2nd of January 1998. I am studying in Sekolah Kebangsaan Seri Bintang Utara. My father is a teacher while my mother is a housewife. I have 3 siblings. My eldest sister is 23 years old. She is studying at a university in America called The Indiana South Bends. My second sister is 21 years old. She is studying at a college called The One Academy. My brother is going to be 10 years old this year. He is sometimes naughty and sometimes good. He is studying in the same school as I am. I love my family very much although sometimes we argue and fight with each other. My hobbies are swimming, playing table tennis and reading storybooks. Among these three hobbies, the one that I love to do every free time is reading storybooks. My favourite books are the Twilight Saga because they are very interesting. I am not very sure about my ambition because there are many jobs I want to be for the future. I think I will decide what my ambition will be when I am older. Okay nothing more to say. Bye!

My Third Tiring Week In School!!!!!

Hi again! Did you read the title? That's what I'm gonna write. The third week was okay. More better than the first and second week. Sorry about the second week blog. I did not post it because I have to go to the hospital to visit my uncle that just had a heart attack. But thank god he is fine.

Monday was okay. I had homework but not that much. Tuesday was great, I nearly finished my homework at school. All the prefects have to stay back from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. I am a prefect. We had fun on that day. We did loads of activities and learned to be a strict, disciplined, trustworthy prefects. During the activities some of the prefects got smacked by the prefect teachers, I did not know why. We also get "NEGATIVE" or "POSITIVE" stickers from the coaches. If we do any bad things we will get the "NEGATIVE" sticker while the "POSITIVE" is for the good things.

Wednesday not that good. It was my unlucky day. Very unlucky until I do not want to talk about it. Thursday is where I got to sleep at 4:30 a.m. and woke up at 6:00 a.m. because I had to finish my homework. And I had 2 essays for that is a punishment given by my BM teacher. Friday same as Thursday. Homework. Sleep from 2:30 a.m. until 6:30 a.m.

Okay Saturday and Sunday is cool. Not much homwork although we had schoo on Saturday. Bye have to go.

My First Week Of School!

Hi! It is me again. I guess I have to talk about my first week at school. Well some are great and some are bad. Okay, let's start on the first day. My first day of school was great. I am really happy I got chosen to go to the top class. I was happy and surprised when I found out my friends are all there in the same class with me. Well that is all for the first day. My second and third day are the same. Those days are normal like a little bit of homework and projects. My fourth and fifth day were the worst of all. I had a pile of homework given by teachers nearly all subjects. But I am lucky I finished all of it on Saturday so that I can relax today. Okay now the weekends. Saturday is okay. I stayed up all night finishing my homework. The next day that is today, I went to 1 Utama to help my father teach as a part-time teacher. He gave me some students to teach. They are very naughty. Everytime I give homework to them, they will give excuses like "I have a headache. I cannot do any homework." or "My mother said cannot do any homework". Those are all lies. After teaching, my family and I all went to a restaurant called Rendezvous to eat western food. Then, I came back home and typed this blog. Okay! Nothing more to say. I have to sleep. Bye!

My New Year Resolutions

My new year resolutions are:

  • getting 5As for UPSR.
  • getting good marks in all subjects.
  • be a more independent person
  • be a good daughter to my family
